The journey to creating the first rubber resistance band in the world has been far from easy.
In 2011, we received a request from a latex-allergic customer asking if we had alternatives. After some searching, we found that there was no real “non-latex” resistance band on the market. We were determined to break the 10-year dominance of “latex” in the resistance band industry by developing no-allergen resistance bands for nearly 15% of the world’s allergic population. It was a good idea, but the development process was very challenging.
In 2015, we set out to create a new formula for our product. We had some pretty lofty goals: to make it more comfortable, more effective, and longer-lasting than the previous latex bands we were using.
But we fell short of those goals. The new formula didn’t perform as well as the old one, and it didn’t feel right when we tried it out on ourselves.
So we went back to square one in 2016. We changed our tools and molds, but unfortunately, it still wasn’t quite right—our product aged easily
Things were looking pretty bleak until 2018, when my professor pointed me toward an anti-aging substance found in the US that fixed the issue of rapid aging. We were happy to share our new product with some of our customers and generally positive responses.
I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “Experience is the best teacher.” Well, that’s how I feel about 2020.
We are constantly optimizing our formulations to improve the performance of our rubber resistance bands.
Maybe as a result of our perseverance, we happened to discover a crucial new material that significantly improved the performance of our rubber resistance bands and rendered our products nearly indestructible. enhancing resistance band performance to a new level that outperforms latex in all respects.
We followed the trend in 2022 and launched camouflage rubber resistance bands! Due to its exclusivity on the market, the Camouflage series is even more popular. It is currently the only multi-colored rubber resistance band available on the market; double innovations in terms of substance and look have revolutionized how people view resistance bands.
